About the role

About the position: This position will be assigned Food Service Team at the childcare centers on Eglin AFB. This is a NAF (Non-Appropriated Fund) position assigned to the 96th Force Support Squadron at Eglin AFB Florida. Position is Regular Part-time (RPT) guaranteed 20 hours per week and schedule may include weekends and holidays. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Qualifying Experience: Applicant must have progressively responsible experience in clerical or office work that provided a thorough knowledge of administrative principles and practices. Must have training, education, or work experience directly related to the duties required of this position. Requires responsible experience that demonstrates the ability to manage business activities. Experience must have provided knowledge of accounting and financial planning principles and procedures. Must be able to use a computer to include, but not limited to word processing, spreadsheets, on-line information, data entry systems, and basic graphic design software. Condition(s) of Employment: Must be 18 years of age, hold a high school diploma (or equivalent). Must be able to speak, read and write English. Must be able to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical and provide proof of or obtain required immunizations. Must have a Food Handler's Certificate. Must be willing to become certified in and teach Pediatric and Adult First Aid and CPR. Must have a valid driver's license and have a good driving record. Successful completion and favorable adjudication of appliable background investigation (Tier 1 Level), State Criminal History Records Checks and Installation Records Check. This is a drug testing designated position. The incumbent is subject to random testing for drug use.
