Duties : Plan, direct, and coordinate activities related to the production implementation, integration and manufacturability of vehicle electronic systems and software. On-site lead for production implementation and integration of embedded software. Work with internal and external project teams on advanced control development efforts independently with minimum supervision using embedded software and model-based development tool suites. Provide technical assistance for prototype, pilot and production software. Responsible for making critical decisions that have a large impact on projects and engineering initiatives. Ability to present and defend technical engineering decisions to Engineering leadership, Oshkosh leadership, and external customers. Perform more complex engineering calculations, investigations, and tasks as assigned according to Oshkosh, as well as general industry, engineering standards and processes. Responsible for driving continuous improvement efforts across different engineering disciplines. Follow good software practices including the use of version control, change control and issue tracking software. SCHEDULE: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday SALARY: $147,534 per year LOCATION: Oshkosh Defense, LLC, 789 Flatwood Industrial Drive, Spartanburg, SC 29303
