Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and repair work on company equipment, including heavy equipment, and mostly trucks.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues, and develop solutions to resolve them
  • Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime
  • Ensure that all equipment-related activities are carried out in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Class E drivers license required
  • 1-2 years of experience in maintenance and repairs with trucks (Semi experience, dealership experience, auto body shops).
  • Non-Travel - home every night. (will have to travel to job sites during the day on occasion).
  • Strong technical skills, with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex equipment issues
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Experience using equipment maintenance or repair software preferred

We are seeking an experienced Truck Mechanic to join our Equipment team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing equipment issues, as well as performing preventative maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance. As a key member of our Equipment division, the Truck Mechanic will work closely with other departments and stakeholders to ensure the efficient and effective use of company resources.
