Client Manager

About the role

We're looking for an experienced Manager to join our Cambridge office. This role is for a client-focused, technically strong accountant who enjoys building trusted relationships, managing a varied client portfolio, and mentoring junior team members. Manage and grow a portfolio of corporate and private client accounts across a range of sectors Act as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering proactive, high-quality advice Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with clients, directors, and staff Review statutory accounts and corporation tax computations prepared by the team and ensure compliance with UK GAAP Review self-assessment tax computations and returns and liaise with tax specialists where required Manage deadlines and workflow, ensuring work is delivered on time and to a high standard Support and develop junior and semi-senior team members through coaching and review Identify opportunities to add value and cross-sell Xeinadin services Key Requirements ACA / ACCA qualified (or equivalent) Proven experience managing a client portfolio within an accountancy practice Strong technical knowledge of statutory accounts and UK compliance requirements Additional Requirements Confident communicator with a collaborative, client-first mindset Comfortable reviewing work and supporting the development of others Well organised, commercially aware, and able to manage competing priorities
