Product Software Engineer I

Requirements

• 0-2 years of software development experience, including internships, academic projects, or equivalent hands-on experience.
• Foundational experience with one or more programming languages such as Java, Scala, or Python.
• Understanding of data processing concepts and interest in learning big data technologies such as Spark, Kafka, Flink, Databricks, or Snowflake.
• Basic knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and data storage concepts.
• Familiarity with cloud computing concepts and an interest in learning tools such as AWS, Terraform, Docker, or Kubernetes.

Assist in building batch and near-real-time data pipelines with guidance from senior engineers. Write clean, readable, and testable code following engineering best practices. Use modern AI-assisted development tools to improve coding efficiency, debugging, testing, and documentation. Participate in design discussions, implementation, testing, and troubleshooting activities. Learn and apply cloud technologies, big data frameworks, and AI-enabled engineering practices. Troubleshoot issues and help improve application reliability and performance. Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to deliver solutions. Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes. Support production systems and help investigate technical issues.
