JOB DESCRIPTION A Field Service Technician is to deliver the desired customer service and support. Continuous improvement of customer satisfaction. Maximizes customer retention and increases profitability by reducing wastage. Be fully responsible for HSE and work instructions while on site. The Job summary is not limited to above, will be evaluated time to time and are subjected to change(s) as deemed fit for the role. Perform service activities according to company policies and safety standards in offshore, shipyards, Ports, workshop facilities and any other locations. Investigate and troubleshoot product service issues. Provide 24/7 on-call emergency services as required and engage Service Technicians and provide company services remotely Timely and accurate completion of paperwork including field service reports, timecards and expense reports. To compile any other ad-hoc reports that may rise time to time project based. Maintains and develops project documentation, and reports. Preform equipment inspections and provide technical evaluations and solution. Promote an active safety environment and facilitate in investigating safety incidents. Communicate project status to managers and department head. Report directly to the Field Service Manager or his delegate during his absence. Track company asset on sites and assure it is maintained as per agreement with the contractors or the concern party engaged. Fully comply and adhere to company policies, procedures, memorandums, instructions and region circulars To conduct NDT inspection of mechanical parts on jacking system in accordance to procedures and drawings. Commission of OTD systems- includes installation / Testing / presenting the systems to owner /surveyors / QA Service and troubleshoot the mechanical systems. Ensure that the completion of assigned tasks is in accordance to plans and schedules. JOB REQUIREMENTS Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with experience support. Minimum 2 - 3 years of field experience in servicing, troubleshooting and installation of equipment of offshore jack ups (Jacking system, deck cranes, skidders, anchor winches) in offshore field within Oil & Gas sector and 2 - 3 years of NDT inspection works. Experience with marine equipment for offshore jack up drilling rigs Letourneau design is advantage. Willing to travel globally Able to work independently and in a team environment. PCN level 2 in PAUT, UT, ECT or TOFD PAUT in Multisector, In-Service certification BUSINESS UNIT Seatrium Limited
