Associate Area Analyst

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality financial reports and dashboards focused on product performance, cost drivers, and profitability-leveraging multiple data sources (Ocean and Logistics & Services).
• Prepare detailed financial and operational analysis to support the COE Manager in identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business dynamics into clear and compelling financial narratives.
• Support performance review cycles against Budgets by preparing accurate data, analysis, and materials for effective decision-making.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as variable costs, productivity, and operational efficiency.
• Simulate P&L scenarios and create operational performance reports, including financial narratives and Q&A materials.
• Drive continuous improvement in reporting accuracy and efficiency through automation and process enhancements.
• The Basics
• Academic Background: Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Experience: 3-5 years in financial analysis or business performance roles.
• Systems: Proficiency in BI tools, Excel, and financial reporting systems.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of P&L, cost analysis, and financial performance metrics.
• English Level: B2 or higher - capable of working fluently in a global environment.
