Responsibilities

  • Maintain the Quality Assurance Lab, QA Ignition Software and QA Robots on the floor
  • Communicate with QA Inspectors and QA Technicians from all shifts
  • Support training of QA Technicians to help solidify the QA department
  • Monitor and report on processes and controls
  • Troubleshoot potential quality issues
  • Improve measurement techniques and testing
  • Monitor, maintain, and oversee gauge calibrations/verifications in all labs and QA Robots
  • Educate QA I nspectors and QA T echnicians on procedures regarding new products or tests
  • Maintain, document, and perform special testing on products specified by customer s and Product Development
  • Work with departments on CQV runs, size studies, or other special runs or samples
  • Maintain SPC database
  • Ability to work any shift and overtime as required
  • Maintain and enforce all company safety, environmental, and department of health requirements.
  • Any other duties as required by the leadership team.
  • Qualifications and Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • A bility to calculate parts requirements
  • Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Previous quality assurance experience preferred
  • Computer skills ( Proficient in Excel , Minitab, SPC , and Ignition )
  • Ability to travel as necessary
  • Ability to lift 40lbs occasionally
  • Ability to communicate with customers in a professional manner
