Responsibilities
- Maintain the Quality Assurance Lab, QA Ignition Software and QA Robots on the floor
- Communicate with QA Inspectors and QA Technicians from all shifts
- Support training of QA Technicians to help solidify the QA department
- Monitor and report on processes and controls
- Troubleshoot potential quality issues
- Improve measurement techniques and testing
- Monitor, maintain, and oversee gauge calibrations/verifications in all labs and QA Robots
- Educate QA I nspectors and QA T echnicians on procedures regarding new products or tests
- Maintain, document, and perform special testing on products specified by customer s and Product Development
- Work with departments on CQV runs, size studies, or other special runs or samples
- Maintain SPC database
- Ability to work any shift and overtime as required
- Maintain and enforce all company safety, environmental, and department of health requirements.
- Any other duties as required by the leadership team.
- Qualifications and Experience:
- High school diploma or GED
- A bility to calculate parts requirements
- Strong organizational skills with proven ability to complete multiple tasks simultaneously
- Previous quality assurance experience preferred
- Computer skills ( Proficient in Excel , Minitab, SPC , and Ignition )
- Ability to travel as necessary
- Ability to lift 40lbs occasionally
- Ability to communicate with customers in a professional manner
