Requirements

  • What You Will Do for ESA
  • Monitor construction activities and identify archaeological resources;
  • Effectively communicate with construction crews and project personnel;
  • Write and maintain written daily survey, monitoring, recordation, and cataloging logs, including utilizing electronic data collection tools and GIS mapping applications.

We plan, design, permit, mitigate, and restore for projects across our communities, infrastructure systems, open spaces, and wildlands. We are 50 years strong in 21 offices across California, the Pacific Northwest, and the Southeastern United States. ESA seeks a highly motivated Cultural Resource Specialist with 2-7 years of experience in leading field teams & projects, & writing reports to join our Northwest Cultural Resource Team . Strong preference for candidates located within a commutable distance to the Portland Metro area. Qualified candidates near Salem, Eugene, Bend or within a commutable distance of Portland areas will also be considered. Qualified candidates must be open to occasional travel as this role may involve some travel for site visits, projects, field work, and in-person team collaboration as needed. Work samples may be requested as a step in the interview process.
