Responsibilities
- Learns and applies echocardiograph techniques in order to competently perform all commonly applied procedures according to set protocols established by cardiologists. Develops proficiency in performing these procedures.

- Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or Registered Cardiac Sonographer

- CPR - Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- CPR - Basic Life Support
- Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences
- Minimum of two years performing Echocardiography Exams

This role qualifies for a $15,000 Sign-On Bonus. The Cardiac Sonographer reflects the mission, vision, and values of NM, adheres to the organization's Code of Ethics and Corporate Compliance Program, and complies with all relevant policies, procedures, guidelines and all other regulatory and accreditation standards. The Cardiac Sonographer functions as an echocardiography technologist under the administrative direction of the Resource Coordinator of Cardiac Graphics. The sonographer is responsible for learning all the commonly performed echocardiography procedures in the department and developing consistent proficiency in performing these procedures. These procedures include M-mode, two-dimensional, planar Doppler blood flow studies, Exercise and Dobutamine Stress tests, 3D echocardiograpy, as well as the techniques required to calculate measurements of chamber size and value area.
