Operate HIAB-equipped trucks safely and efficiently for the transportation, loading, unloading, and lifting of materials, equipment, and cargo at project sites, yards, and client locations. Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and daily vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and compliance with company and UAE regulations. Operate the truck-mounted crane (HIAB) to lift, position, and place materials in accordance with approved lifting procedures and safety requirements. Secure loads properly before transportation and ensure cargo is transported safely without damage. Follow approved lifting plans, risk assessments, and instructions from supervisors, riggers, and site personnel. Conduct routine checks on crane components, hydraulic systems, lifting accessories, and safety devices, reporting any defects immediately. Maintain vehicle cleanliness and ensure all required documentation, permits, and inspection records are up to date. Comply with UAE traffic laws, company driving policies, and project-specific safety regulations at all times. Coordinate with logistics, warehouse, and site teams to ensure timely delivery and movement of materials and equipment. Assist with loading and unloading activities when required, ensuring proper use of lifting equipment and accessories. Report accidents, incidents, near misses, vehicle breakdowns, and equipment malfunctions promptly. Ensure all lifting operations are conducted within the crane's rated capacity and manufacturer's guidelines. Valid UAE Heavy Driving License. Minimum 3-5 years of experience operating HIAB trucks / heavy vehicles. Good knowledge of UAE traffic regulations and safe lifting practices. Ability to read and understand lifting instructions, delivery notes, and site requirements. Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and inspection procedures. Physically fit and able to work in yard, site, and remote project environments. Teamwork and effective communication. Time management and attention to detail. Commitment to safety and quality. Ability to follow instructions, meet deadlines, and manage time effectively. Flexibility to work in shifts and extended hours as project demands require.
