About the role

We are looking for our next Sales Account Manager (Co-Products) on our Americas Nutrition & Bioindustries Team. Sales Account Manager (Co-Products) is responsible for maximizing the value of Roquette's co‑products by securing reliable, profitable outlets while supporting operational efficiency and consistent product off‑take. It ensures strong market presence with farmers and feed operations through targeted sales, relationship management, and customer-focused solutions. This position is remote, based in Canada or the US.

Responsibilities

  • Commercial & Sales Development
  • Deliver annual sales, volume, variable margin, and profit targets for product lines and assigned accounts.
  • Sell wet and dry co-products to beef, dairy , hog, poultry and other feed related industries while building long-term relationships with key stakeholders
  • Prospect and identify new business development opportunities, leveraging market trends, customer needs, and targeted outreach.
  • Create customer sales development plans and annual business plans to support growth objectives.
  • Ability to develop customer base and market out-of-spec/ distressed co-products into effective margin-enhancing feed-based solutions
  • Account Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring a high‑quality, responsive commercial experience.
  • Lead and coordinate customer touchpoints including routine meetings, commercial discussions, business reviews, and cross‑functional engagements - Including routine plant operational meetings for consistent alignment
  • Provide accurate monthly sales and volume forecasts to support supply chain, production planning, and inventory management.
  • Negotiation & Contract Management
  • Lead pricing discussions, commercial offers, and contractual negotiations from initiation through final agreement.
  • Ensure accuracy in pricing, compliance with contractual terms, and alignment with company policies and commercial strategy.
  • Market & Customer Insights
  • Translate customer insights into commercial opportunities and value-added solutions.
  • Provide market intelligence, including competitor activity, customer trends, and market data.
  • Utilize market research to identify target customers, new applications, and opportunities to valorize the portfolio.

Requirements

  • Education:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Agriculture, Animal Science or related field
  • 4-6 years in B2B sales/account management
  • Experience selling co-products, feed ingredients, or related portfolio strongly preferred.
  • Knowledge of commodity freight and logistics
  • Experience with Salesforce, SAP, CRM tools a plus
  • Prior grain market experience/trading/ knowledge a plus
  • Knowledge of Canadian feed/ agricultural commodities a plus
  • Experience working direct with farm operations
  • Cross-functional collaboration with manufacturing
  • Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
  • This is a full-time position that will occur from Monday - Friday. >50% travel is required.
