Responsibilities
- Cleaning and/or changing animal cages and associated equipment
- Assist with animal enrichment
- Supporting deliveries from both internal and external sources
- Stocking, rotating, and storing supplies
- Construction of various transport boxes
- Use of loading and transporting equipment (e.g., carts, pallet truck, etc)
- Supporting the transport and dispatch of animal shipments, samples, equipment and consumables.
- Providing general housekeeping and waste removal to ensure a clean and safe environment
- Providing weekend and or holiday cover as needed.
- Operating decontamination and sanitation equipment as needed
- Other duties as assigned
- To be successful in this role, this position requires the Product Service Support Technician brings:
- Able to perform repetitive tasks efficiently
- Ability to follow sterile entry procedures and maintain neat, clean, and safe conditions
- Ability to follow detailed procedures
- Skills to accurately record, calculate, and maintain detailed records
- Able to work as a team member
- English communication - reading, writing and oral
- Must be at least 18 years of age
