BIM Modeler (Precast Industry)

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain BIM models for precast elements.
• Generate detailed shop drawings and reinforcement layouts based on design inputs.
• Prepare and manage design documentation including drawings and document control forms.
• Coordinate with design engineers, production teams, and site personnel to ensure model accuracy and constructability.
• Review and cross-check shop drawings prepared by other modelers for quality and compliance.
• Support clash detection and coordination processes using BIM tools.
• Qualifications & Skills:
• Diploma or NTC in Structural/Architectural Engineering or Draftsmanship.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and BIM software such as Revit, Allplan, or Tekla Structures (preferred for precast).
• Understanding of precast concrete design and detailing.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret structural and architectural drawings.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
