Responsibilities

- Respond to questions and escalations from centralized teams
- Handle agent and broker phone inquiries related to policy processing
- Ensure clear communication and timely resolution of issues
- Process Oversight
- Monitor assigned workflows to ensure compliance with service level expectations and turnaround times
- Support prioritization and distribution of work across processing teams
- Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements
- Assist in maintaining and enhancing standard operating procedures
- Collaboration & Training
- Assist in onboarding and training of new team members and processing staff
- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for policy processing workflows
- Partner with leadership to drive operational efficiency, standardization, and continuous improvement
- Share best practices across the team
Requirements
- Experience in insurance operations, underwriting support, or a related role (commercial lines preferred)
- Exposure to transportation insurance or the ability to quickly learn transportation-specific workflows
- Experience working with centralized processing or shared services teams is helpful
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and quality assurance
- Demonstrated ability to handle complex tasks, exceptions, and escalations
- Effective communication skills, including experience supporting internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Teams, and OneNote is helpful
