Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the global procurement organization to leverage best practices and scale opportunities
  • Support cross-functional projects focused on business growth, operational efficiency, and procurement excellence
  • Influence stakeholders and build alignment in a matrixed international environment
  • Drive Procurement Excellence
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, delegation of authority requirements, and governance standards
  • Support contract lifecycle management, including contract visibility, compliance, and renewal tracking
  • Analyze spend data, supplier performance metrics, and procurement KPIs
  • Contribute to procurement digitization initiatives, process improvements, automation, and system enhancements
  • Support sustainability, ESG, responsible sourcing, and KAITEKI objectives through supplier engagement

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Chemistry, STEM, or a related field
  • Minimum 3 years of procurement, strategic sourcing, category management, or supply chain experience
  • Experience leading supplier negotiations, sourcing events, and contract management activities
  • Experience supporting direct materials categories preferred
  • Background within chemicals, polymers, resins, advanced materials, manufacturing, automotive, or industrial industries preferred
  • Strong analytical, commercial, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to influence and collaborate across cross-functional and multicultural teams
  • Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management abilities
  • Demonstrated ownership, accountability, and results orientation
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • MBA, CPSM, CSCP, CPM, or equivalent professional certification
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems
  • Familiarity with: Spend analytics platforms
  • eSourcing and eAuction tools
  • Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems
  • Supplier performance and ESG platforms
  • Procurement analytics and reporting tools
  • Experience with supplier risk management, sustainability initiatives, and procurement digitalization programs
