Supervisory Financial Management Analyst

About the role

You will serve as a SUPERVISORY FINANCIAL MANGEMENT ANALYST in the FINANCE DEPARTMENT of SOUTHWEST REGIONAL MAINTENANCE CENTER. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1.) Directing, overseeing, or managing comprehensive accounting operations, financial reporting, and complex account reconciliations for an organization. 2.) Applying knowledge of federal accounting principles, standards (e.g., FASAB, GAAP), and statutory requirements to resolve complex financial or systems-related issues. 3.) Leading the implementation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of internal controls (such as OMB Circular A-123) to ensure data integrity, mitigate risk, and support financial audit readiness. 4.) Providing authoritative advice and strategic recommendations to senior leadership regarding accounting policies, financial management systems, and the impact of regulatory changes on organizational operations.
