Responsibilities
- Gather, input, retrieve and maintain maintenance information in both computer and manual systems
- Provide general clerical work to assure the smooth operation of the Maintenance Department
- Develop and issue computer reports as requested
- Assist with and/or prepare materials
- Prepare summary reports of transportation and maintenance costs

- Perform a variety of accounting activities such as preparing check requests, expense reports, purchase orders
- Track, update, report and pay memberships and affiliations.
- Coordinate with the Division Maintenance Administrator.
- Travel to other sites around the state as needed. Possibly once a month.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Familiar with vehicle and equipment parts to assist shop personnel with clerical and data entry work
- Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and E-Mail, proficient in 10 key, keyboarding and typing skills a must
- Highly organized
- Excellent verbal communications skills
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Alaska Waste is looking for a Maintenance Administrative Assistant to join our team in Anchorage! We are looking for a Maintenance Administrative Assistant to help keep our Anchorage shop in tip top shape. In this role, you will help the shop run smoothly by ordering parts, keeping stock of parts and materials, and keeping accounts and invoices all organized. Schedule will be Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm. Pay is between $25.00 and $30.00 per hour depending on experience.
