Job Description The leader is responsible for ensuring Human Health (HH) has an industry-leading strategy and approach to sourcing and creating commercial data assets to inform business critical decisions and actions. The leader will be responsible for creating, owning and implementing the HH data asset strategy and innovation agenda for select new and pipeline products. Job Responsibilities: Actively maintains an understanding of the HH commercial data landscape, including 1st, 2nd and 3rd party data assets, spanning HCP, Consumer, Payer, Patient, Account, etc; maintains a working knowledge of the use cases and value associated with each data asset. Partners closely with internal stakeholders and Business unit leaders to ensure Data Strategy supports the BU goals and objectives inclusive of key initiatives and addresses key business questions. Manages the team's Budget and reporting to ensure accurate and transparent stewardshipServes as Data Subject Matter Expert and represents Data Strategy on cross functional teams Partners proactively with Market Engagement Teams, Product Teams and other DHH stakeholders to gain and maintain a deep understanding of select disease states/therapeutic areas, marketing strategies & brand priorities to ensure the data strategy adapts effectively with a dynamic portfolio and evolving BU priorities Partners proactively with Commercial Data Solutions teams, Governance, Risk & Compliance teams, Strategy & Ops team, Knowledge Management teams and Central Data & Analytics teams to ensure proactive demand planning, effective execution and delivery excellence. Continually scans the external environment for new valuable data assets and potential data partnerships. Builds and executes plans to fill prioritized gaps which may include leading Request for Proposals (RFP), acquiring new assets from external sources, identifying partners to create needed assets, or enacting internal initiatives. Leads team in conducting analytics including data quality assessments, fit-for-purpose analyses, and proof-of-concept use case tests. Works in close collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Account Management, Business Insights and Analytics, Brand, Payer, and RWE to achieve value realization from data investments. Responsible for forming and maintaining productive working partnerships with key data providers. Ensures data suppliers are providing meta data to enable AI-ready foundation, supports the enablement of solutions that systematize business insights proactively and is trained to be the trainer for the broader DHH and Marketing organization for these solutions. The leader in this role is responsible for not just data that we purchase from external partners but also to shape the strategy for data we create internally (be it content related or activity related).
