JOB DESCRIPTION: SUMMARY OF POSITION Responsible for the coordination, development, implementation, and oversight of behavioral health and CCBHC program services. Provides clinical leadership, supervision, and support to behavioral health clinicians, direct care staff, and interns/practicum students as assigned. Ensures delivery of high-quality, person-centered, trauma-informed, and evidence-based behavioral health services in compliance with CCBHC standards, state and federal regulations, accreditation requirements, and agency policies. Promotes collaboration across multidisciplinary behavioral health teams and provides outstanding internal and external customer service. This is a hybrid position, with weekly in-office presence required. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Provides clinical supervision, consultation, and support to behavioral health clinicians, care team members, and interns/practicum students to ensure quality clinical services and compliance with CCBHC standards and best practices. Assists with onboarding, training, mentoring, and development of new staff and interns/practicum students related to behavioral health services, documentation standards, crisis response, and evidence-based interventions. Assumes leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Clinical Manager to maintain continuity of behavioral health and CCBHC operations. Collaborates with leadership team members and Director as needed. Provides outpatient behavioral health counseling services utilizing evidence-based and trauma-informed methodologies, including individual, group, and family therapy services for clients experiencing mental health and/or substance use concerns. Conducts comprehensive behavioral health assessments, biopsychosocial evaluations, intake screenings, risk assessments, and diagnostic summaries in accordance with CCBHC and agency standards. Develops, implements, and monitors individualized treatment plans that are person-centered, family-centered, culturally responsive, and recovery-oriented. Participates in treatment plan reviews and updates plans as clinically appropriate. Ensures timely completion and submission of clinical documentation, treatment plans, assessments, progress notes, and other required records in accordance with agency, payer, and regulatory standards. Assists clients with linkage and coordination of care with internal and external behavioral health, medical, psychiatric, substance use, housing, employment, and community support services in collaboration with Integrated Healthcare Services. Maintains communication and collaboration with referral sources, hospitals, community partners, and interdisciplinary treatment teams while adhering to confidentiality and release of information requirements. Provides crisis intervention, de-escalation, safety planning, and coordination of higher levels of care as clinically indicated. Assists clients with discharge planning, continuity of care, and follow-up services to support ongoing recovery and wellness. Participates in staff meetings, clinical staffings, case consultations, quality assurance initiatives, utilization reviews, and other internal committees as assigned. Supports program compliance with CCBHC metrics, documentation requirements, quality improvement initiatives, and behavioral health outcome measures. Monitors and documents urinalysis, breathalyzer testing, and other clinical screenings as assigned and appropriate to program services. Maintains effective communication and collaborates as an active member of a multidisciplinary behavioral health treatment team. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Knowledge of behavioral health, substance use, crisis intervention, trauma-informed care, and recovery-oriented systems of care. Knowledge of CCBHC model requirements, integrated healthcare principles, and evidence-based behavioral health practices. Ability to effectively communicate verbally, in writing, in person, and through virtual platforms with clients, staff, leadership, and community partners. Skill in clinical supervision, team collaboration, coaching, and staff development. Skill in problem-solving, crisis management, and decision-making in fast-paced behavioral health environments. Knowledge of community behavioral health resources, inpatient and outpatient treatment programs, crisis stabilization resources, and referral processes. Ability to maintain professional boundaries, confidentiality, and compliance with HIPAA and agency standards.
