MSS Security is looking for a Full Time Security Officer to join our team and work in Blackwater. This is an access control role, primarily responsible for managing entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and ensuring only authorised personnel and visitors are granted access. Candidates must reside within 1 hour of Blackwater to be considered for this role.

Responsibilities

• Maintain focus and observe the activities associated with asset protection
• Monitor CCTV systems and radio communications
• Control site access, verify IDs, and ensure only authorised personnel are permitted entry
• Respond to emergencies, manage incidents, and complete incident reports as required
• Provide professional customer service and conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols

Requirements

• Full Australian working rights
• Valid QLD Security License (control room endorsement required or willingness to obtain)
• Valid QLD Drivers License
• Availability to work a rotating 7-day roster, including both day and night shifts.
• Demonstrated experience in Security roles in a high surveillance environment - Industrial security operations will be highly regarded
• Master licence - 41299
