JOB PURPOSE The Global HR Manager plays a critical role in translating global HR strategy into consistent, effective, and locally relevant execution across regions. This role partners closely with business leaders and regional HR teams to drive talent, organization effectiveness, and a strong, values-based culture while ensuring compliance with local labor laws and global policies. This is a temporary, fixed-term role for a period of 12 months.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with global and regional leaders to deliver HR solutions aligned to business strategy, growth, and transformation priorities.
  • Translate global HR framework (e.g., talent, performance, rewards, recruitment) into actionable regional plans.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on workforce planning, organization design, and change management.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, or improve HR processes, leveraging technology and data where possible.
  • Support global talent processes including performance management, succession planning, leadership development, and workforce capability building.
  • Drive consistency and quality in talent reviews, ensuring strong pipelines for critical roles.
  • Partner with leaders to address organization effectiveness, engagement, and culture outcomes.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations matters in collaboration with local HR leaders, ensuring alignment with local laws and global standards.
  • Support investigations, performance issues, and employment actions with sound judgment, consistency, and risk awareness.
  • Ensure global HR policies are understood, applied consistently, and adapted as needed for local regulatory environments.
  • Support enterprise-wide change initiatives, including restructuring, transformation programs, and new ways of working.
  • Reinforce company values through people processes, leadership behaviors, and employee experience initiatives.
  • Partner with regional teams to strengthen engagement and inclusion across diverse cultures and geographies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred
  • 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with demonstrated exposure to global or multi‑country environments
  • Strong knowledge of core HR disciplines
  • Proven ability to influence leaders and manage complex stakeholder environments
  • Strong judgment, discretion, and execution mindset
  • Excellent communication skills
  • F luent German speaking ability
