About the role

First Konnection is assisting our client, an established education institution in Singapore, to hire a Lecturer in Diagnostic Radiography. This is a 1 year contract role supporting an academic healthcare programme. The role is suitable for diagnostic radiographers who are ready to move into teaching, or candidates who already have clinical education, training, mentoring, or student supervision experience. This role may suit someone who enjoys clinical practice but is now looking to contribute through teaching, student development, and the next generation of radiography professionals. This role comes with a 1 month completion bonus upon completion of the contract. Please note that renewal, conversion, or future internal movement is not guaranteed. Any future opportunity will depend on performance, available headcount, and budget.

Responsibilities

• Deliver teaching for diagnostic radiography related modules
• Support lectures, tutorials, practical sessions, student consultations, and assessments
• Prepare teaching materials, learning resources, and assessment components
• Guide students in academic, clinical, and professional development
• Support clinical education, placement coordination, or student facing academic activities where required
• Support programme administration, student management, assessment preparation, and academic quality activities related to Diagnostic Radiography
• Contribute to curriculum support, quality assurance, and programme administration
• Work with academic and school teams to support programme delivery
• Meet the required teaching load and assigned teaching schedule

Requirements

• Relevant qualification in Diagnostic Radiography or a closely related radiography discipline
• Qualification will need to be checked against the AHPC recognised qualifications list for Diagnostic Radiography
• Minimum 2 years of diagnostic radiography practice experience in Singapore clinical settings
• Strong practitioner grounding in diagnostic radiography
• Comfortable moving into an academic teaching environment
• Able to communicate clearly with students and academic stakeholders
• Comfortable with a 1 year contract role
• Comfortable with no guaranteed renewal or conversion
• Able to commit to the institution's planned teaching schedule
• Able to support a minimum teaching load of 800 teaching hours per year
• Able to support possible evening and weekend classes when scheduled
• Expected salary should be within SGD 5,000 to SGD 8,000 per month
• Good to Have
• Prior teaching, lecturing, training, mentoring, or clinical education experience
• Experience supervising students, junior radiographers, or clinical trainees
• Exposure to curriculum planning, placement support, assessment, or academic administration
• Strong student engagement and communication ability
• Master's level qualification in Diagnostic Radiography or a relevant radiography discipline
• Work Arrangement
• The work location is in Central Singapore.
• This is a lecturer role with a minimum teaching load of 800 teaching hours per year. Teaching schedules will be planned by the institution and may include evening or weekend classes.
