- Experience contributing engineering outputs to safety cases or security cases
- Knowledge of hazard identification and risk-based engineering methodologies
- Familiarity with instrumentation, sensors, and control system integration
- Required Qualifications:
- A degree in Electrical , Instrumentation & Control , Process , Mechanical , or Chemical Engineering , or a closely related technical discipline, or equivalent military experience
- Desirable Skills:
- Experience within nuclear, energy, or large infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with UK and international fire protection standards (e.g. BS 5839, NFPA, IEC).
- Knowledge of process instrumentation , control systems , or electrical schematics .
- Understanding of ISO 9001 , ISO 45001 , or equivalent safety and quality frameworks.
- Experience managing or auditing equipment suppliers on technical compliance and documentation quality.

As a Senior Process Design Control & Instrumentation Engineer, you will join Manchester/Derby/ Warrington team to support our activities within the Nuclear sector. This role focuses on developing control philosophies, control narratives, and Safety & Functional Requirements Specifications (SFRS) including HMI specifications that support the safety case, security case, and regulatory compliance across complex engineered systems. The position requires strong process engineering capability, understanding of safety-critical design principles, and experience working in highly regulated environments where requirements evolve and designs change frequently. Location: Manchester/Derby/ Warrington (Can be anyone site) On 2 times per 14 Days to anyone of the site Clearance: BPSS Experience Level: 4- 15
