Valmet's Global IT R&D and Engineering Platforms team is looking for an experienced and results driven IT Service Manager for Siemens Comos to design, develop, and maintain scalable Comos solutions that enable our global business processes. In this lead position, you will be working together with IT and Business stakeholders in tasks related to digitalized business. You will manage and coordinate IT Service delivery of Comos Plant Engineering platform so that service is delivered reliably, cost-effectively, meets the organization's business needs, use the organizations and vendor resources effectively and follow organization's ITSM policies and guidelines. You will also lead and participate related development projects. Role and responsibilities Manages maintenance and support of Comos related services together with IT vendors Manages development and deployment of Comos Manages service and software vendors Manages IT service budgets Manages, facilitates and utilizes Comos global key user network Contributes to engineering process development Supports IT system integrations in own area Required Experience and Qualification: A technical degree, B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Information Systems, Computer Science, Economics or related field equal. To be successful in this position you should have at least five years of work experience in Comos. Good knowledge of plant engineering systems. PLM and engineering domain business implementations as well as related IT technologies are regarded as advantage. Good knowledge of Siemens Comos scripting and customizations. Analytical skills as well as ability to coordinate cross-functional work teams and vendors towards task completion. You have proactive, development-minded and goal-focused attitude to work. Good communication and interpersonal skills to be able to build and keep up good relationships with both external and internal clients. Analytical thinking and teamwork capabilities along with commitment and flexibility. As we are working in a multicultural environment, good command of spoken and written English language is essential in this position. Other language skills are regarded as an advantage. In addition, we appreciate: Fluent spoken and written English language Good communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders Collaborate closely with developers, admins, and business stakeholders to align implementation with project goals. Recommend process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency. Familiarity with Western business practices and work culture
