Field Service Technician (Remote - Portland, ME)

Responsibilities

• In this role, you will combine technical skills, customer service, and independent problem‑solving to support our full suite of mailing and shipping technologies-from Inserters to Smart Lockers. You will:
• Delivering exceptional customer service that drives client satisfaction, retention, and trust.
• Diagnoses, repair, and troubleshoot both hardware and software issues to reduce downtime and callbacks.
• Install, service, and upgrade Pitney Bowes Shipping & Mailing equipment, ensuring clients are fully trained and confident in their use.
• Manage a multi‑zip‑code territory within 45 Minutes of Portland, Maine , with up to 80% driving time.
• Use hand tools and small power tools to perform repairs, maintenance, and installations.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and professional work environment always.
• This role is ideal for someone who enjoys autonomy, variety, and hands‑on technical work while interacting directly with customers.

You will enjoy a consistent Monday-Friday schedule aligned with traditional business hours, with overtime opportunities available. We offer a competitive wage of $24.75 per hour . In addition, this role includes a 10% incentive on any service or parts sales you present to clients-giving you the opportunity to increase your earnings through your expertise and client rapport.
