About the role

You will serve as a INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN/INFOSEC) in the COMMAND INFORMATION OFFICE of NAVFAC OSF. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector 1) Strategic Cybersecurity Program Leadership: Experience leading command-level Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) cybersecurity programs. This includes developing long-range cybersecurity policy, overseeing capital planning and investment for cyber activities, and establishing performance standards for the workforce. The candidate must demonstrate the ability to lead project teams, set strategic priorities, and improve procedures to meet mission objectives. 2) Enterprise Risk Management and Acquisition Integration: Mastery in applying the Risk Management Framework (RMF) to provide programmatic and financial oversight for a diverse portfolio of enterprise systems. This includes translating complex cybersecurity requirements into technical and contractual specifications for acquisition, validating system Plans of Action and Milestones (POA&Ms), and making risk-based recommendations that influence major program funding and acquisition priorities. 3) Cybersecurity Policy and Project Leadership: Skill in leading IT/OT projects by planning work, setting priorities, and establishing standards for project teams. This includes developing long-range technical and resource cyber policy, overseeing capital planning and investment needs, and drafting policies to govern IT/OT cyber activities across the command's mission areas.
