- We are looking for a hands-on professional who combines a strong sustainability background with a structured, implementation-focused mindset.
- What you bring
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in sustainability, ESG or environmental management within an industrial, technical or manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience with ISO 14001, including implementation, maintenance or ownership of an environmental management system.
- Experience translating ESG and CSRD requirements into practical business processes, controls and reporting structures.
- Strong affinity with process improvement, KPI development and governance frameworks.
- Experience working within a Quality Management System (QMS) environment is considered an advantage.
- Knowledge of data management, reporting structures and performance dashboards.
- Experience coordinating cross-functional initiatives in complex organizations.
- Familiarity with internal and external audits and assurance processes.

In this position, you are responsible for implementing and coordinating our ESG Governance & Control Framework across the organization. You ensure that sustainability requirements are embedded in business processes, performance management, data governance and decision-making. Your focus is on execution, consistency and continuous improvement, enabling Royal IHC to meet regulatory requirements while creating measurable business value. You act as the linking pin between various ESG stakeholders, including HSE, Finance, Procurement, HR and Legal. By creating clear ownership, reliable data structures and effective controls, you ensure that ESG objectives are translated into auditable and actionable outcomes. Reporting to the Head of QA & Security, you will contribute to building a future-proof ESG framework that supports both compliance and long-term business success.
