Facilities Construction Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform general construction, maintenance, and repair work
• Build walls, install and finish drywall, and complete painting projects
• Perform trim carpentry, cabinet construction, and door installation
• Install and repair ceiling systems, roofing, and building siding
• Read blueprints and construction drawings
• Troubleshoot and repair facility-related issues
• Coordinate with subcontractors and support facility improvement projects
• Follow OSHA and company safety standards

Requirements

• Experience in construction, carpentry, facilities maintenance, or related trades
• Ability to read construction drawings and complete projects independently
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Dependable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Technical or vocational training preferred
• Physical Requirements
• This position requires frequent lifting, bending, climbing, walking, and working in both indoor and outdoor environments. Candidates must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work safely in varying temperatures while wearing required PPE.
