Job Title: JOC Training SME KBR is searching for highly skilled and motivated candidates to join a high-performance team and provide support to U.S. Space Command (USSPACECOM) as a Joint Operations Center (JOC) Training SME. An active TS/SCI clearance is MANDATORY. As a JOC Training SME, you will: Provide support to the JOC Mission Qualification Training (MQT) program for certification events for new crew members, including instruction and development of training resources and material. Develop training resources and materials in order to conduct detailed training to the JOC MQT program for certification events for new crew members in the following mission areas: National Military Command System (NMCS) Operations, Missile Warning/Defense, Space Defense, Space Activities Synchronization, Command and Control, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR), Cyber, Position, Navigation and Timing (PNT), Space Control, Space Lift, and Allied and Commercial Space Capabilities. Develop JOC training policies / procedures for JOC Director approval. Perform as role player during exercise or training events to represent external organizations. Maintain basic space knowledge and combatant command level responsibilities/currency. Learn and maintain proficiency of JOC technology. Conduct coordination among USSPACECOM Directorates and external agencies, and prepare packages in order to present training opportunities and options to the JOC Director/JOC Technical Director. Maintain logs of training events and participants, ensuring certification for JOC crew members is current. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or higher required; 15+ years relevant experience within the DoD in lieu of degree. Completion of JPME I is highly desired, and JPME II is preferred. Expertise in providing instruction, developing training programs, and tracking/maintaining training and logs. Experience/understanding of operations center functions and activities. Current/relevant space / joint space operations knowledge and background. Previous experience at USSPACECOM, or other Combatant Command, MAJCOM, HHQ, Joint Staff, OSD etc. Ability to draft courses of action for senior officer approval based on multiple inputs. Ability to brief/interact with senior (GO/FLAG) level officer and senior civilians. Ability to identify and resolve challenges at a strategic and tactical level. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Active TS/SCI clearance is MANDATORY Work Environment: Location: Onsite Work Hours: Standard
