Quality Chemical Technician (Startup plant, East)

Responsibilities

• Perform routine evaluations on advanced composite samples, including physical, thermal, and chemical testing .
• Operate, calibrate, and care for laboratory instruments such as mechanical testers, thermal analysis equipment, and optical inspection tools.
• Document test results with high accuracy, interpret data trends, and communicate findings to relevant technical and operations teams.
• Contribute to development projects by supporting the creation and assessment of new material formulations and composite structures.
• Work closely with engineering staff to diagnose production-related issues and help optimize material performance and process parameters.
• Ensure the laboratory is kept organized, compliant, and aligned with internal safety standards and industry practices.

Requirements

• Diploma in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• 2-3 years of practical experience in a lab or manufacturing setting, ideally involving composite or advanced materials.
• Hands-on proficiency with laboratory instruments and solid knowledge of standard testing procedures.
• Training would be provided for those without experience.
