Technical Specialist

Responsibilities

• Assist Test Engineer to carry out all the test and de-bug related activities
• Perform hands-on assembly & disassembly of testing equipment/device so that testing activities in accordance to work instructions, test procedures and work schedule- Review and clarify test requirement
• Execute testing based on the test cases
• Perform the exploratory test and clarify test procedure when needed- Perform troubleshooting and identify root causes for the issues and report the defects
• Record and document result

Requirements

• Nitec / Higher Nitec in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, or Mechatronics Engineering (or a related technical discipline).
• Experienced in using hand tools for the physical assembly, disassembly, and secure mounting of hardware units, components, or test jigs.
• Practical experience operating standard laboratory diagnostic equipment-such as multimeters .
• Ability to read, interpret, and precisely execute Work Instructions (WI) and written test procedures.
• Capable of clearly identifying, isolating, and documenting exact failure points, with the ability to compile structured defect reports for the Test Engineering team.
