About the role

Responsibilities
- Own delivery of statutory accounts for assigned entities, including preparation, review, issue resolution and finalisation in line with CoE standards.
- Execute statutory audits, acting as the day-to-day finance contract for external auditors and service providers.
- Coordinate statutory deliverables, audit requests and evidence, ensuring quality, completeness and timeliness.
- Prepare and review statutory financial statements, supporting schedules and documentation.
- Support maintenance of statutory accounting positions and escalate technical or audit issues appropriately.
- Operate statutory governance and control processes, including SOX or equivalent controls.
- Liaise with GFS, local finance teams and corporate functions to ensure statutory data accuracy and readiness.
- Support process improvement, standardization and automation initiatives within the Statutory CoE.
- Proactively escalate delivery risks, delays or emerging issues to the Senior Statutory CoE Manager.
- Qualifications and skills
- Degree (or equivalent) in Finance or Accounting.
- ACA / ACCA (or equivalent) qualified or actively studying.
- 6-10 years of relevant experience in statutory reporting, financial accounting, or external audit environments.
- At least 3-5 years of hands-on experience in managing statutory accounts preparation and audit delivery.
- Good understanding of statutory accounting requirements and audit processes.
- Strong attention to detail with a robust documentation and control mindset.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and deliver accurate outputs in a structured reporting cycle.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
