Job Description At General Motors, we are building on our momentum and changing the way we do things. As we move towards our ZERO ZERO ZERO vision for the future, we are looking to add hard-working individuals to help contribute to our Validation team! The Body Controls Calibration & System Test Team is looking for a Occupant Positioning System Calibration and Test Engineer to join our organization! Our area is rapidly growing and is being transformed due to the adoption of software-defined architecture. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands on experience in future technologies GM is introducing in Body electronics/Mechatronics space. The Occupant Positioning System Calibration and Test Engineer will: Lead Occupant Positioning feature, system and solution testing (manual and automated) on virtual, bench and vehicle test environments. Work cross-functionally with system safety, system engineering, design release, suppliers etc. to develop robust test methodologies for safety critical features. Lead test automation development and execution Collect data using advanced test equipment. Analyze, review results and document failures via PRTS, Jira etc. Author validation reports (CG190 etc.) Participate in Agile ceremonies (PI planning, DSU etc.) Deliver configuration and performance calibrations to support different vehicle platforms. Additional Responsibilities: Support regulatory and compliance relevant initiatives for Occupant Positioning features. Lead system test issue resolution initiatives Lead best practices and process improvement initiatives. Support program team reviews and demos. Maintain communication with cross-functional stakeholders. Required Qualifications: Minimum of 8 years of experience with proven technical and professional skills in Engineering. Bachelor's degree in electrical/computer/software engineering, or Computer Science Demonstrated strong background in programming/scripting/Embedded SW development (Python etc.) Experience with Test automation framework (Autobot, Autoval etc.) Valid US Driver License
