About the Position: This position is located within the Department of Logistics, Supply Chain at the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center in Bethesda, MD. It is in a warehouse environment and the hours are Monday-Friday 7:30 am - 4pm. Frequently lifts and carries items that weigh up to 50 pounds; occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 70 pounds. Requires moderate physical effort to operate the MHE. Operation of the carts and pallet jacks require additional physical effort. Working Conditions: Performs work in a warehouse and on a loading dock which may be hot, damp, cold, drafty and/or dusty. Subject to cuts and bruises while handling items; subject to injury from shifting or failing loads or forklift overturning.
