Responsibilities

- Partner with the HR team in drafting and implementation of HR and employment related policies/ guidelines/ documents, etc.
- Collaborate with Global Investigations & L&E teams in people actions, recommendations, etc. and advice from India law perspective.
- Manage compliance related queries including POSH requirements and related advisory, etc. Develop and conduct trainings or awareness sessions on legal and compliance programs or processes including POSH.
- Partner with and provide cross-functional support to global and regional corporate departments (Finance, Tax, Technology/IT, Privacy, Security, Intellectual Property, HR, etc.); for contracting matters and other matters as needed.
- Have a strong outlook on identifying gaps and improvement opportunities to ensure consistency in processes, feedback, outputs, and documentation across Commercial and Hubs/Centers in India from a legal perspective.
- Work with team in managing litigations (minimal) including ongoing legacy employment matters and co-ordinate with external lawyers for status, progress and strategy;
- Possess an understanding of privacy laws and frameworks.
- Be a strong enabler and strategic partner in supporting the implementation of strategy and growth initiatives for commercial operations and hubs.
- Qualified Lawyer/LLB and LLM will be an added advantage;
- 10+ years of work experience (experience at a law firm and/or MNC in-house is preferred).
