Ngā kawenga matua | Key responsibilities Collect aggregate, soil and asphalt samples and complete testing to required specifications. Carry out laboratory testing and reporting in line with Fulton Hogan lab IANZ requirements. Support field testing and other physical works as required. Complete equipment checks before use and help maintain calibration across laboratory equipment. Apply Appropriate local and international test Provide Analysis and clear reporting of results for relevant focus areas. Stay current with pavement design, pavement delivery and pavement product technologies. Work safely, follow quality and environmental processes, and speak up when something is not right. A relevant qualification in science or civil engineering preferred An understanding of quality assurance and material properties. Good skills in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel. Full Class 1 licence. Strong focus on safety and wellbeing. Practical, proactive and accountable approach to work. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think a step ahead. Collaborative, team-focused attitude and respect for others. Willingness to learn, build skills and take pride in a job done well.
