About the role

The Emergency Department is a dynamic, high-energy environment where no two shifts are the same. You'll work alongside nurses, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to care for patients with a wide range of conditions-from minor injuries to critical emergencies-across both Wilson and BGH campuses. Work Locations: UHS Wilson Medical Center, Johnson City, NY UHS Binghamton General Hospital, Binghamton, NY There is more than one location associated with this position. This is either because there are multiple openings at different sites, or the successful candidate will be required to float across multiple UHS facilities. Your recruiter and hiring manager will clarify expectations during the interview process. Primary Work Shift: Rotational Compensation Range: $19.37 - $28.09 per hour, depending on experience You will be eligible for benefits if you are hired into a regular position with at least 24 scheduled weekly hours. -----

Responsibilities

• Take and document vital signs, promptly reporting any changes
• Support patient flow by preparing rooms and assisting with transfers
• Respond quickly to call lights and patient requests
• Assist with procedures under the direction of nursing staff
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized care environment
• Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and fami
• Position Qualification
• Preferred:
• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Completion of a Nurse's Aide program
• Previous hospital or health care experience.
• License/Certification
• Preferred:
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
