Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment and Care Planning
• Conducts initial patient assessments and obtains medical histories.
• Develops and implements individualized care plans.
• Monitors patient progress and adjusts care plans as needed.
• Medication Administration
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments.
• Ensures proper dosage and compliance with treatment regimens.
• Monitors patients for adverse reactions and reports findings.
• Patient Education
• Educates patients and their families about medical conditions and treatment options.
• Provides guidance on self-care techniques and preventive health measures.
• Conducts follow-up education sessions as needed.
• Clinical Procedures
• Performs minor medical procedures such as wound care and suture removal.
• Assists physicians with diagnostic tests and minor surgeries.
• Prepares and maintains sterile environments for procedures.
• Documentation and Coordination
• Documents patient care in electronic health records (EHR).
• Coordinates with healthcare team members to ensure comprehensive care.
• Manages patient appointments and follow-up care

• Conducts periodic inventory checks and restocks supplies.
• Ensures availability of necessary medical equipment.

• Required Qualifications
• Associate degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program. 3 year of relevant experience in an outpatient or clinical setting. Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited program. 5 years of relevant experience in a healthcare environment. Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Salary Range
• $82,000 + depending on qualifications
