About the role

The Senior Manager , Case Management and Remediation is an integral member of the Workplace Compliance and Policy leadership team , with a strong focus on wage compliance, underpayment investigations, and remediation . This role is responsible for t he end to end management of underpayment enquiries, historical claims, and investigations, ensuring accurate identification, calculation, and remediation of wage discrepancies . Your key responsibilities will be to: lead, develop, and support a team of case officers, embedding a high performance, compliance focused culture and refining ways of working oversee and undertake complex wage investigations, including identifying underpayment risks, interpreting industrial instruments, and determining appropriate investigative approaches ensure best practice in claims management, wage investigations, and remediation, including large scale and historical underpayment reviews manage the end to end lifecycle of underpayment enquiries and claims, including triage, investigation, calculation, approval, and remediation take accountability for the timely and accurate resolution of wage investigation and remediation matters in line with agreed timeframes and governance frameworks assess and manage legal, reputational, and operational risks associated with wage compliance and remediation activities act as an escalation point for complex, sensitive, or high risk matters, providing recommendations to senior leaders provide strategic advice to executive stakeholders on wage investigation findings, compliance risks, and remediation strategies, including when external legal or specialist advice may be required oversee the development and maintenance of robust governance frameworks, including case management processes, record keeping, audit readiness, and regulatory reporting lead the design and implementation of systems, processes, and standard operating procedures to support effective and consistent case management oversee complex data analysis and remediation calculations, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and appropriate approvals lead communication strategies for affected employees throughout the investigation and remediation process apply a continuous improvement mindset to case management . About you undergraduate/postgraduate qualifications in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of training and experience strong experience conducting wage investigations within complex industrial and regulatory frameworks demonstrated expertise analysing payroll, time and attendance, and employment data to identify underpayments and compliance risks proven experience managing end to end wage investigation and remediation programs, including large-scale or historical reviews and back-pay calculations strong understanding of governance, audit, and compliance requirements, including record keeping and regulatory reportin demonstrated ability to assess and manage risk in complex, sensitive, and high impact matters experience providing strategic advice and influencing senior and executive stakeholders strong analytical, reporting, and problem solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights and recommendations demonstrated project and case management capability, including the design and implementation of investigation frameworks and remediation methodologies leadership experience, with the ability to build capability, coach teams, and drive high performance in a compliance or investigations environment skilled in preliminary assessments and workplace investigations, particularly in interpreting and applying industrial instruments and employee entitlements.
