Responsibilities

  • Manage project migration, unit/system testing, documents change control and user sign off, ensure changes meet SOX compliance.
  • Document requirements for system modifications and improvements and manage progress through UAT to implementation.
  • Perform system maintenance, including assisting in the review, testing and implementation of Workday releases. Collaborate with HR and Payroll teams to troubleshoot and resolve payroll-related system issues. Coordinate application of upgrade or fix.
  • Maintain HRIS/Payroll system tables, configurations, earnings, deductions, tax set-ups and costing allocations in Workday. Documents process and results.
  • Support and enhance integrations between Workday and third-party payroll vendors.
  • Generate reports/queries, including writing, maintaining and supporting a variety of reports or queries utilizing appropriate reporting tools. Maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
  • Provide end-user support and conduct training, including developing user procedures (SOP), guidelines and documentation on existing, and new functionality or system changes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5 years of Workday Analyst experience with at least 3 years of focused experience in the Workday Payroll module.
  • A strong emphasis and technical understanding of Workday Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking modules preferably in a mid to large-sized organization in the health care space.
  • In-depth understanding of payroll processing, taxation, retro pay, and payroll compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of US Payroll laws and tax regulations.
  • Familiarity with human resource policies and procedures to ensure the HRIS meets organizational needs and goals.
  • Working knowledge of Workday integrations (EIBs, Core Connectors, Studio) preferred.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Experience using issue and project tracking tools (ex. JIRA, etc.)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical support skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
