Job Description: CUSTOMER Assist Senior Managers in supporting business line senior executives Act as liaison with business partners and provide direction and support and enable TD and business specific objectives and goals Present research findings and make recommendations to management that support category and business partner strategies Lead or assist with supplier negotiations/RPFs to maximize price/performance in a given category and work with business partners to influence or intervene in supplier negotiations when necessary SHAREHOLDER Ensure team adheres to enterprise frameworks and methodologies related to overall business management activities Lead relationships with corporate and/or control functions to ensure alignment with enterprise and/or regulatory requirements Support team in staying knowledgeable on emerging issues, trends and evolving regulatory requirements and assess potential impacts to the Bank Assess / identify key issues and escalate to appropriate levels and relevant stakeholders and business management where required Identify, mitigate and report on risk issues per enterprise policy / guidance and ensure appropriate escalation processes are followed Ensure business operations are in compliance with applicable internal and external requirements (e.g. financial controls, segregation of duties, transaction approvals and physical control of assets) Lead relationships with business lines / corporate and/or control functions to ensure alignment with enterprise and/or regulatory requirements Lead or contribute to cross-functional / enterprise initiatives as an organizational or subject matter expert helping to identify risk / provide guidance for complex situations Protect the interests of the organization - identify and manage risks, and escalate non-standard, high risk transactions / activities as necessary Manage oversight process, risk-based identification and monitoring of related risks and regulatory compliance across the supported functions, while ensuring key controls and processes are effectively managed Oversee or lead the facilitation and/or implementation of action / remediation plans to address performance / risk / governance issues Keep abreast of emerging issues, trends, and evolving regulatory requirements and assess potential impacts Maintain a culture of risk management and control, supported by effective processes in alignment with risk appetite EMPLOYEE / TEAM Cultivate and model the Colleague Promise to support colleague growth, and a culture of care; make an impact at work and in our communities by leading with authenticity and supporting well being to represent TD's brand Connect the alignment of colleague's contributions with the TD Shared Commitments Enage is a diverse team where every colleague and customer are valued, respected, and listened to; committed to a common goal and collaborate to move with speed and get things done Demonstrate inclusive leadership by taking meaningful action with intention to support colleagues and customers across all dimensions of diversity, including those from underrepresented communities, being actively anti-racist, attracting and retaining diverse slate of candidates, nurturing mutual respect, inclusivity of thought and collaboration to drive successful results Enable colleague growth by encouraging colleague development to achieve career and business objectives; ensuring timely motivating appreciation and recognition to all colleagues Enable a continuous learning culture by proactively seeking, listening to and actioning feedback from peers and from colleague listening opportunities to continuously improve the colleague experience and grow your personal leadership Model sharing of knowledge, information, skills, and subject matter expertise among the team; ensure timely management and escalation of issues, and lead collaboration with other functions and teams Lead through change and create an environment where teams feel psychologically safe to challenge current practices by modeling resiliency and flexibility, providing direction on changing priorities and empowering colleagues to driv
