About the role
You will serve as an IT SPECIALIST (INFOSEC) in the COMBAT SYSTEMS ACQUISITION DIVISION, USW COMBAT SYSTEMS DEPARTMENT, COMBAT SYSTEMS INTEGRATION & TEST BRANCH of NAVUNSEAWARCENDIV NEWPORT RI. This position is part of the Warfare Centers Personnel Demonstration Project. The NT-4 pay band encompasses positions equivalent to GS-11 and GS-12. TO QUALIFY FOR NT-5: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-4 pay band (GS-11 and GS-12 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying Information Technology (IT) security principles to monitor and evaluate systems compliance with cybersecurity requirements. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving. TO QUALIFY FOR NT-4: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the NT-3 pay band (GS-9 and GS-10 equivalency) in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: applying Information Technology (IT) security principles to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of systems, networks, or data. Your experience must reflect skill in the following areas: attention to detail, customer service, oral communication, and problem solving.
