Registered Nurse - Oncology

About the role

As a Chemotherapy competent Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality, individualised care to patients undergoing cancer treatment. You'll be part of a comprehensive medical oncology department, working alongside a team that values collaboration, empathy, and continuous learning.

Responsibilities

• Administering chemotherapy safely and accurately following ADAC/EVIQ protocols
• Monitoring and managing side effects, providing emotional and physical support
• Educating patients and families throughout the treatment journey
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to optimise patient outcomes
• Contributing to patient flow and uphold high standards of care

Requirements

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Minimum 4 years' acute care oncology experience
• Chemotherapy competency with current EVIQ/ADAC certification
• Strong clinical knowledge of cancer nursing best practices
• Postgraduate qualifications in Oncology (or working towards - desirable)
• Excellent communication, critical thinking, and teamwork skills
