Intern - Merchandising Operations & Process Improvement

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Intern to embed to the core merchandising team, support the end-to-end sourcing and product development lifecycle. The role focuses on managing essential supply chain tracking mechanisms, performing foundational assortment analytics, and drafting Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to enhance vendor coordination and operational efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Merchandising & Project Tracking Build, update, and maintain critical operational infrastructure, including SKU trackers, sample logs, lead-time calendars, and critical-path milestone charts.
• Handle day-to-day core merchandising activities, including generating quote sheets, executing order follow-ups, and managing product sample checking.
• Support the product development team during range reviews and seasonal product launches.
• Assisting Analytics & Reporting Assist with retail planograms and perform basic product assortment analytics to support inventory and layout strategies.
• Consolidate weekly project updates and build comprehensive status decks to facilitate leadership reviews.
• Process Improvement & Vendor Alignment Map 2-3 priority operations workflows and draft basic Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to identify inefficiencies.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure seamless vendor accountability and milestone compliance.

Requirements

• Expected Education & Experience Current student pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Merchandising, Marketing, or a related commercial discipline.
• Technical & Professional Skills Excel Proficiency: Advanced analytical spreadsheet skills are mandatory (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, basic logic formulas).
• Presentation Design: Highly proficient in PowerPoint with the ability to construct clean, well-structured layout designs for leadership communication.
• Soft Skills & Competencies Clear and professional written and verbal English communication skills.
• Outstanding organizational skills with a proven capability to manage multiple tracking deadlines simultaneously.
• Collaborative mindset tailored for effective supplier and cross-functional team coordination.
