General Utility 1st Period

About the role

Under the direct supervision of Management and/or a Control Room Operator, the General Utility will perform essential and physically demanding tasks to support plant operations, including: Filling coal bunkers Lubricating conveyor systems Maintaining the dust collection system Performing general housekeeping duties in the bunker room Making periodic equipment inspections to ensure proper operation and lubrication This position involves working in confined spaces, at high elevations, and in a variety of weather and environmental conditions. The role requires a commitment to safety, teamwork, and continuous learning. Schedule & Work Conditions 12-hour rotating shift Includes nights, weekends, and holidays Must be willing and able to work overtime as needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum one year of mechanical or electrical experience
• Pre-Employment Testing Requirement
