Dam Operator Safety Training: Fundamentals, Inspection, Monitoring & Field Practicum crafting tailored, high-quality course content that educates, engages, and empowers learners with precision and purpose. RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES - Senior Hydrologist | Dam Operator Safety Training: Fundamentals, Inspection, Monitoring & Field Practicum [DOI0017016] Provides instruction on hydrologic principles and dam operations related to water levels, inflows, and releases. Develops course modules on flood routing, instrumentation data interpretation, and operational safety procedures. Coordinates hydrologic aspects of field training. Translates hydrology into operational decisions-levels, inflows, and safe releases operators manage daily. Teach reservoir operations basics, inflow/outflow monitoring, flood routing concepts; develop practical gate operation scenarios for classroom; advise on instrumentation readings related to hydrology. The role(s) are located in the Western United States Region is at or near CONUS - Denver, Colorado.
