The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between sales and engineering, supporting sales teams with technical expertise during client meetings, presentations, and implementations. Duties/Responsibilities Technical Sales Support: Effectively communicate the technical capabilities of our SaaS solutions to financial institutions and fintech companies during the sales process through presentations, demonstrations, and pilot implementations. Solution Design: Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand technical and business requirements, crafting tailored solutions that deliver measurable value. Client Relationship Building: Develop strong, confidence-building relationships with key stakeholders, enabling frictionless product adoption and reinforcing AFS's reputation as a trusted partner. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, R&D, and Marketing teams to provide client feedback, influence roadmap prioritization, and execute go-to-market strategies. Post-Sales Training & Support: Educate customers through training sessions, onboarding support, and ongoing technical coaching to drive successful product adoption. Market Research and Analysis: Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and the competitive landscape, using insights to inform strategy and improve customer engagement. Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) required 3+ years of experience in sales engineering, technical consulting, or related roles within financial technology, SaaS, or custody/clearing services. Strong technical knowledge and ability to discuss detailed product specifications with both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience working in fast-paced, client-facing environments. Required Skills/Abilities Clear Communication: Exceptional ability to convey complex technical concepts in ways that are accessible to a wide range of audiences. Technical Competence: Deep understanding of technology-driven financial solutions with an aptitude for quickly mastering new products and tools.
