This role assists patrons in locating, evaluating, and using information effectively, manages collections and digital resources, and supports information literacy through instruction and outreach. The Librarian ensures access to reliable and organized information and contributes to an environment that promotes learning, inquiry, and knowledge discovery. Education & Experience Education and Experience Required: Master's degree in library science or library and information science and two (2) years of library experience in an academic, health sciences, or research library. Certifications, Licenses, or Registration required: N/A Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of medical and health sciences terminology, biomedical databases (e.g., PubMed/MEDLINE, CINAHL, Cochrane Library), evidence-based practice principles, and systematic literature search methods. Skill in advanced literature searching and database querying, evaluating scholarly and clinical research, teaching information literacy, communicating with clinical and academic staff, and using citation management tools (e.g., EndNote, Zotero). Ability to translate clinical and research questions into effective search strategies and collaborate effectively in interdisciplinary healthcare teams .
