What You'll Do as an Assistant Product Technologist In your role, you'll collaborate with different people across a range of skillsets. Here's a flavour of your day-to-day: Support product development by ensuring adherence to best practice sample processes, quality standards, and testing requirements for home accessories. Investigate quality issues (including Gold Seal rejections and customer feedback), identify root causes, and drive timely corrective actions. Partner with suppliers on technical development, resolve queries, and implement improvement plans based on testing and performance data. Monitor returns and quality reports to identify trends, mitigate risks, and improve future product performance and fit. Collaborate with Compliance and Buying teams to ensure products meet legal, labelling, and industry quality standards. Contribute to tech pack completion, scorecard analysis, and reporting to ensure quality, consistency, and cost efficiency. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and suppliers, supporting training initiatives and representing Quality in key meetings.
